It's finally starting to feel like autumn.
Lune also has a full range of autumn models.

I've been giving you little by little updates on Instagram, but this time I'll be sharing some behind-the-scenes stories from the autumn production...

When I start planning, I always have a vague image in mind.
I will begin a journey through my mind, clearing my heart and mind and collecting and digging into what I feel.

This time, it started with spending time with a friend in the suburbs of London.
On a walk to Hampstead Heath near my friend's house, I watched people riding horses and spotted squirrels flying through the trees.
The golden forest and the cool, humid air.
A vision of an autumn afternoon walk through Hampstead Heath came back to me.

Previously, when stylist Yumiko Hara visited our atelier, she spoke to us about Chanel.
(I have admired Hara-san since I was a teenager. Every time I meet him, he tells me wonderful stories that inspire me to create.)

Remembering Hara's story, I flip through the pages of the Chanel book on my bookshelf. There are photos of Coco Chanel and the Duke of Westerminster, and another of my beloved Chanel wearing the Duke's clothes with a friend. She looks so stylish in men's sizes, and I'm always thrilled when I see her. Her expression is also gentle. Is it the beauty of a woman in love? Is it because she's relaxing in the countryside? Her girlish smile is incomparable to the crisp photos of Paris. There's a favorite story about how Chanel came into contact with Harris Tweed during this romance, and how she would later elevate it into the elegant Chanel Fancy Tweed, and this photo is also of the Duke as a high school girl in tweed.

Dandyism + elegance is a love story between two people♡
We interpret it in a Lune way and then select the fabric and move on to the design.
Consider modern style and balance while imagining a holiday in the countryside, watching the races, attending a social gathering, or a glamorous romance. Pleated items are made with delicate and chic paisley.
A coat that looks like you're holding a sheep, a masculine marine coat, a glen plaid or pinstripe JK, all paired with modern curvy pants. (This season, we're doing in-depth research into curvy pants. We'll talk about that another time.)

After the exhibition, we had a meeting with the photography team to discuss the visual story.
I showed that photo I loved to the team and expanded the story.
The theme was "A Weekend in the Countryside," and the story was constructed like a short movie. Starting with arrival, we unpacked our luggage and had coffee, then a walk, went to lunch at a friend's house nearby, and then invited friends over for cocktails. Everything was shot on location, and it was a lot of fun, but also quite challenging. Thanks to everyone on Team Lune for your hard work.
